Marlysse had the idea for Un Astro music and groove. Inspired by the sound of the Farfisa, this was originally suppose to be a greek bolero, then it turned into a song about Desi and was first titled “Year of Desiderio” .

Tu Peine is a bolero Sebastian Cruz wrote for Laura Ann and Rei, it went through many transformations. Here is the original demo Sebastian sent us.

Paradero went through the most changes. Notes from Marlysse: I was super influenced by this Inti-Illimani song for the beginning of Paradero. Inti-illimani are the masters of building songs and a huge influence, of course one of the most legendary Chilean bands, something my mom had been playing for me since I can ever remember. Also wanted this song to have middle eastern vibe and for the piano to have a feature plaing the melody. I was definitely thinking of this popular album by the Rahbani brothers.
